Description
This is an amazing Rolex 6239 ‘Small-Daytona’ in stainless steel on the original Rolex stainless steel bracelet. It is a 100% original watch that came to us recently having been professionally serviced.
It is one of the first Rolex Daytonas ever made with the small “Daytona” writing on the Panda dial. On even slightly later models the word “Daytona” was almost as large as the “Cosmograph” writing above.
In excellent condition all round, there are of course some slight dents and scratches on the watch. Importantly it appears to be unpolished. The dial is unmarked and the hands only show the slightest of patina. The original bracelet has the proper endlinks and the clasp has the correct date stamp. It’s surprisingly long for an original bracelet of this age and fits an 8″ wrist.
Unsurprisingly, there are no boxes or papers with this one.
Just tested by certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co this Rolex Daytona 6239 is running extremely well for its age.
