This Rolex 5513 Submariner is a gorgeous early 1980’s matte dialled example in original condition. Most early 1980’s matte dialled Submariners have had something changed – at least the hands, at worst the dial – but this Rolex 5513 Submariner has the original dial and the hands, a combination so loved by purists and collectors.
The case on this watch has really sharp edges, sides and lugs. The original tritium dial and hands are excellent with nicely developing patina. This watch has genuinely been carefully worn and it is an excellent opportunity to secure a lovely watch in world class condition. It is on a slightly later Rolex Oyster bracelet.
Just tested by Rolex certified watch specialists Michlmayr and Co this Rolex 5513 Submariner is running beautifully and within COSC spec.
