Rolex 16700 GMT Master ‘Swiss only’

This Rolex 16700 GMT Master is from 1999 and so it’s one of the very last ever produced and is an absolute beauty.  Of course being an all original 1999 Sports Rolex it has the rare Luminova ‘Swiss only’ dial and matching Luminova handset.

The main features of the 16700 are all present with this watch including the white gold indexes and sapphire crystal and the rare dial and hands are superb with no patina or damage whatsoever. It’s all very very clean and crisp.  The case hasn’t been poorly or over polished and there is very little wear in the original bracelet.  This is an excellent example.

Prices of  the classic Rolex GMT Master have settled recently and for watches in outstanding condition like this have held up well.  That’s because really  superb examples are becoming harder to find and unlike some over-inflated references, they are genuinely rare.
