Description
This is an outstanding example of a Rolex 116900 Air King and comes with everything that came from the factory including the bezel protector. There is also a copy of the original purchase receipt.
It’s been worn “two or three times” since it was bought new from a UK A.D. in 2017 and is 99% unmarked.
The watch itself is solid and functional. The black dial is designed to be read clearly for navigational calculations. It’s a good size too at 40mm and in line with many of the other models in the current range. It wears a little larger than might be expected. The smooth bezel puts it in the Explorer / Milgauss / DJ41 school of Rolex watches.
It’s a great looking piece and just a little different from the other sports Rolex watches that you’re going to see in the bar or at the office.
