Rolex 216570 Explorer II Black

This is an excellent example of the black dialled Rolex 216570 Explorer II Black, and it is 99% unmarked. The black dial and hands are perfect and the bracelet has no wear or damage.

The Rolex 216570 Explorer II was introduced in 2011 with a larger 42mm stainless steel case than its predecessors and the all new bracelet and hands.

Rolex 16570 Explorer II Polar

This is an outstanding opportunity to buy an unworn, stickered, genuinely NOS Rolex 16570 Explorer II Polar.  It seems to be one of only a handful of stickered NOS 16570 Polars for sale in the world at the moment and it is the only one in the UK.

This watch is perfect in every way having never been worn and has factory stickers still attached to the case sides and the green ‘16570’ case back sticker is still bright as the day it was made.

It comes with the papers, both original boxes – the outer has the ‘16570’ sticker – and the accessories and books as well as the serial numbered tags.

Rolex 16523 ‘Zenith’ Daytona

Discontinued in 1999, this 1998 watch is one of the last Rolex 16523 ‘Zenith’ Daytona made and has one of the very last Tritium ‘Swiss Made’ dials which were discontinued that year.  It has a stainless steel and 18ct yellow gold case and bracelet.

The case on this watch is superb and the engraving on the bezel is strong, clear and crisp. There is only minimal wear to the bracelet and clasp and all together the watch is a lovely example of a classic Bi-Metal Zenith Daytona.

Complete with original large green outer and wooden inner boxes, the outer has the “16523” sticker intact. The papers are included as well as the YRO and translation books and the tags and a Rolex wallet.

It has just been tested by Rolex certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co and it is running smooth and strong. It is supplied with a 12 month warranty.

Available only with a manual wind movement until 1988, Rolex finally got around the fact that they didn’t have their own automatic chronograph movement by utilising a heavily modified version of the famous Zenith El Primero.  It was with this model that Rolex also introduced their first Bi-Metal Daytona, the 16523

The Rolex Explorer II which was originally referred to as the ‘Steve McQueen’ Rolex, despite the fact he never wore one, has been with us since 1971 and is still going strong now. There have been several versions over the years and this is the current version.

Rolex Day Date 1803 Rose Gold

This 1973 Rolex Day Date 1803 is another classic gent’s dress watch. It’s also rare, especially in this condition.

It has a 36mm case made of 18ct Rose Gold with a sharp fluted Rose Gold bezel and an 18ct Rose Gold ‘President’ bracelet.

The case, bezel, dial and the handset are all in quite incredible condition without even slight traces of patina and no damage anywhere.  The case appears unpolished and this would tally with the condition of the bracelet and bezel, both of which appear almost like new.

It comes with the leather inner box and matching large Rolex notebook, both of which are housed in an oversized green outer box.  All of this is in a condition similar to the watch itself.  The Rolex handkerchief is also included.

Rolex 124300 Oyster Perpetual 41

This is a superb example of the Rolex 124300 Oyster Perpetual 41 with a beautiful blue dial. It has been carefully worn and is in excellent condition. Complete with the correct original boxes, papers, booklets and tags.

The Rolex 124300 is a very simple 41mm design with a plain black baton dial.  This is one of the most straightforward of all Rolex watches and is all the better for it.  It has a dial, three hands and a plain bezel on an Oyster bracelet.

Rolex 126281RBR Datejust 36

This spectacular Rolex 126281RBR Datejust 36 is Rolex’ stylised take on a 36mm Datejust

This stunning Rolex Datejust has a 36mm stainless steel case with a factory, diamond set rose gold bezel and a rose gold and stainless steel Jubilee bracelet.  The slate grey dial has factory diamond set Roman numerals and matching gold handset – the whole watch is flawless as it’s hardly been worn since it left the shop in 2022

Rolex 126234 Datejust 36 Diamond

This Rolex 126234 Datejust 36 Diamond is Rolex’ modern take on their most classic gent’s dress watch. It has a 36mm stainless steel case with a fluted 18ct white gold bezel and a stainless steel Jubilee bracelet.

An unwanted gift, the whole watch is flawless as it’s never been worn since it left the shop in 2023. The blue lozenge diamond dial is spectacular and the depth of finish is clear every time it moves in the light.

Under Rolex warranty until 2028, the watch has just been tested by Rolex certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co. , it is waterproof and is running within COSC spec. It shouldn’t need to be serviced until around 2033.

Aesthetically, the Datejust has spanned eras, while retaining the enduring codes that make it, notably in its traditional versions, one of the most recognized and recognizable of watches.

 

 

Rolex 116520 Daytona

This Rolex 116520 Daytona is a lovely example of a lightly worn stainless steel watch with a black dial.  A 2010 watch, it is one of the later 116520s made in its 15 year production run.

The case on this watch is fat and even and shows no sign of ever having been damaged and the engraving on the bezel is strong, clear and crisp. There is virtually no wear to the bracelet or clasp and all together the watch is a lovely example of a classic stainless steel Daytona.

This is a lovely Rolex 116528 Daytona in 18ct gold on a matching 18ct gold bracelet.   It has a factory fitted black dial with diamond hour markers and is 100% original.

Rolex 224270 Explorer

A beautiful watch, this Rolex 224270 Explorer has never been worn. The case, dial, hands and bracelet of this watch of course show no signs of wear and it is all in perfect original condition.

The Rolex 224270 Explorer is the first incarnation of the 40mm Explorer and is under Rolex warranty until 2028.

The Explorer makes a lovely understated gentleman’s sports Rolex but would also look great on a lady who likes a larger watch. Well worth considering for either possibility, especially as it brings a more active feel and is more robust than its non-sports stable mates.

This is a lovely Rolex 116618 Submariner Date in 18ct gold on a matching 18ct gold bracelet.   It is a ceramic Submariner Date with the wider case design, a ceramic bezel and the ‘GlideLock’ Oyster bracelet.
