Bremont U-2/51-JET/R

The U-2/51-JET/R is a new Bremont design that stemmed from a military project commissioned by the RAF’s 100 Squadron members to celebrate their centenary and complement their Hawk T1 Jet aircraft.

This watch is in very lightly worn condition and is virtually indistinguishable from new – if there are any marks, they are tiny. It comes with the box, the wallet, papers, books and strap changing tool and is on an unworn Bremont Nubuck leather strap. There is also a Bremont Temple Island strap in the wallet.

The 100 Squadron are famous for night bombing and Bremont created the U-2/51-JET/R with a new middle barrel colour, aptly named ‘Jet’. Turning the watch over reveals an exhibition case back showing the beautiful automatic movement through tinted black smoked glass.

The dial features the old style propellor logo rather than the new compass logo used on most new Bremont watches.

Just tested by certified watch specialists Michlmayr & Co  and is running within COSC spec and is still under Bremont warranty.
